37th Annual Cheikh Anta Diop International Conference
At this year's conference, scholars, artists, and practitioners will activate ancestral knowledge -- amplifying the connections between the past and the present. In an age marked by intensified assaults on Black life, thought, and futures—across academia, public policy, healthcare, global politics, and more—we return to the ancestors not only as memory but as method.
Their stories, our blueprints.
Their lives, our inheritance.
Their resistance, our right!
Join us as we honor and engage the legacies, struggles, visions, and victories of our ancestors as Africological sites of instruction, healing, and radical possibility.
The conference will take place during business hours on October 17-18 2025, at Temple University’s Center for Anti-Racism, Mazur Hall 140, 1114 Polett Walk, Philadelphia, PA 19122.
